    Films

At numerous intervals throughout the school year, students will have an opportunity to participate in class viewings of various films (most either “Not Rated” or “PG”) as an enrichment activity.  Films provide an engaging visual component to the curriculum students have been exposed to.  However, some of the films students will have an opportunity to view carry an “R” or “PG-13” rating.  Students will not be allowed to view the films that carry an “R” or “PG-13” rating without parent/guardian approval.

    1. Glory- “R”-
    2. Far and Away- “PG-13”
    3. Schindler’s List “R”
    4. Students will also view a brief clip depicting the Normandy Landings from the film “Saving Private Ryan.”
    5. Thirteen Days- “PG-13”

Students who do not have permission to view these films will complete an alternative written assignment.  By signing the line below, you acknowledge that you are giving your student permission to participate in these class viewings.
