Mr. Kenneth Skidmore

I graduated from Grapeland High School in Grapeland, Texas in 1968. I attended Sam Hoston State University in Hontsville, Texas and graduated in December, 1971 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics. My first teaching job was at Elkhart High School in the Spring of 1972. I then went to Hull-Daisetta High School as Math Teacher and Assistant Football Coach in July, 1972. In May of 1978 I was hired as Head Football Coach and Athletic Director and Math Teacher at Hull-Daisetta High School. In 1979 in my second year as Head Football Coach at Hull-Daisetta High School we were able to win the State Championship in Football.  In June, 1980 I was hired as Head Football Coach and Athletic Director and Math Teacher at Troup High School. In June, 1981 I was hired as Head Football Coach and Athletic Director and Math Teacher at Hawkins High School. In June, 1989 I was hired as Head Football Coach and Athletic Director at Barbers Hill High School. In June, 1995 due to illness, I resigned from coaching and taught Mathematics at Barbers Hill High School. In June, 1997 I returned to coaching as Head Football Coach and Math Teacher at Anahuac High School. In June. 1998 I returned to Barbers Hill High School as Football Offensive Coordinator and Math Teacher. In June, 2007 I retired from coaching and was hired as Math Teacher at Liberty High School. In June, 2011 I was hired as Math Teacher at Hardin High School.

I am looking forward to my 47th year of teaching and my 7th year at Hardin High School. I will be teaching Geometry and Math Models classes.
